Hello, I live in Placerville, I have been following your blog since 2012 and have not seen much activity since 2013-I wonder if it is that your life got too busy, or that the squatch are staying away from the Eastern Sierras? I will be moving to the Carson City area in the next few years, do you have suggestions about overnight hikes in the area? And what do you think about backpacking alone in your area? I have been interested in the "big man" since the 60's when my relatives in Northern Idaho told stories about big hairy men messing with their logging equipment and stealing food.
